Why did you move to Portland

I wanted to come back to my roots on the South Coast and to work with people where I could see that my input made a difference to people's lives. I had spent 10 years working in corporate recovery on the South Coast before the lure of national and global opportunities drew me to London. I have worked for "big four" business recovery firms for 20 years, have enjoyed the benefit of that training and experience and I have worked with global clients on major transactions.

However, I identified that Portland take a different approach to clients' needs.  Portland provide a flexible approach to clients’ problems where the insolvency practitioner can offer them an efficient solution which is credible to all parties involved and which leads to an opportunity for a more successful outcome for all concerned as the Insolvency practitioner takes a hands on approach to the clients needs and challenges at Portland.
