Why I love my job
People often say to me that they don’t understand how I could do the job that I do; I think they must assume that it is all doom and gloom. In fact, being able to help people is actually a central part of this job and it’s what I really love about this job. Whether that help is working with a director of a company, providing advice to an individual with substantial debts and pressing creditors, or by ensuring that a redundant employee is aware of his or hers entitlements, I have heard time and again how the guidance and support that we have provided has helped people in what are very difficult circumstances.
